Magnetic for Life
Your Buckle Base is built to hold. If the magnetic hold weakens under normal use, we re-magnetize or replace the magnet module — after we get it back and take a look.
That's the whole promise: the magnet doing its job, and us standing behind it. No hoops. Some limits apply — the full terms are below.
What this is
Magnetic for Life is a magnet-performance guarantee — it covers the magnetic hold delivered by your Buckle Base. It is not a general product warranty, and it doesn't cover the rest of your piece. The finish, the leather, the Switch Inlays, everyday wear — those live under a separate promise (more on that below).
We keep it narrow on purpose. We'd rather tell you exactly what we cover than make a big promise we'd have to walk back later.
The formal name is the Limited Lifetime Magnet Performance Guarantee. We call it Magnetic for Life.
How it works
- The magnet does its job. Your Buckle Base uses a proprietary magnetic system with Autolock alignment — engineered to grab and hold, swap after swap.
- If the hold weakens, you tell us. Email hello@gloryworn.com to start a claim, and have your proof of purchase from an authorized Glory Worn seller ready (order confirmation or receipt).
- We inspect, then make it right. You send the piece in; we confirm coverage after we receive and inspect it. If it's a covered service event, we re-magnetize the Base or replace the magnet module — our option — and send it back. Free for a covered service event.
What's covered
- Loss of magnetic holding force under normal, everyday use — when the magnet no longer holds your buckle securely the way it did when new
- Natural demagnetization over time
- A materials or workmanship defect in the magnetic components only: the magnets, the Autolock lock components, and the Buckle Base
What's NOT covered
- Extreme heat far beyond normal wear — well past anything you'd encounter in everyday life
- Strong external or opposing magnetic fields
- Physical damage, breakage, or wear
- Modification or disassembly
- Misuse, neglect, or intentional acts
- Buckle-face finish, plating, or cosmetic wear
- Belt leather or material
- Switch Inlay damage, scratching, or loss
- Lost components
- Accessories — earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and handbags have no magnetic system
- Any non-magnetic breakage
Coverage may also be denied if inspection shows impact, heat, corrosion, disassembly, or tampering.
The formal terms
Limited Lifetime Magnet Performance Guarantee
This is a Limited magnet-performance guarantee (the Magnuson-Moss "Limited" designation).
Glory Worn guarantees the magnetic holding performance delivered by the Buckle Base for the lifetime of the product, to the original purchaser, on the terms below.
What "lifetime of the product" means. For purposes of this guarantee, "lifetime of the product" means the period during which Glory Worn continues to manufacture and service the Buckle Base model you purchased; it ends if that model is discontinued and parts are no longer available. It does not mean the lifetime of any person. [Counsel to confirm definition before launch.]
What it covers. This guarantee covers loss of magnetic holding force under normal, everyday use — when the magnet no longer holds your buckle securely the way it did when new — arising from natural demagnetization or from a defect in materials or workmanship in the magnetic components of the Buckle Base, specifically the magnets, the Autolock lock components, and the Buckle Base. It does not cover anything else. This is an everyday-wear guarantee for a belt buckle; it is not rated as a load-bearing or safety device.
Remedy. If a claim is covered, Glory Worn will, at its option, re-magnetize the affected component or replace the magnet module. This is the sole and exclusive remedy under this guarantee. We do not provide an automatic new product or unit. A covered service event is performed free of charge.
How to make a claim. Covered claims require returning the item to Glory Worn for inspection. Email hello@gloryworn.com to start a claim and receive return instructions, and have your proof of purchase from an authorized seller ready. Coverage is confirmed only after inspection, and may be denied if inspection shows impact, heat, corrosion, disassembly, or tampering.
Who it covers. This guarantee extends to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. It requires proof of purchase from an authorized seller. At this time, our only authorized seller is gloryworn.com. Purchases from unauthorized resellers are not covered.
What is excluded. This guarantee does not cover: exposure to extreme heat far beyond ordinary use (well past what a person encounters in normal wear); strong external or opposing magnetic fields; physical damage, breakage, or wear; modification or disassembly; misuse, neglect, or intentional acts; buckle-face finish, plating, or cosmetic wear; belt leather or material; Switch Inlay damage, scratching, or loss; lost components; accessories (which contain no magnetic system); and any non-magnetic breakage.
No condition on Glory Worn parts or service. This guarantee is not conditioned on your using only Glory Worn belts, bases, inlays, parts, or service. However, damage, demagnetization, or failure caused by third-party parts, modification, disassembly, or service is not covered (see What's NOT covered).
Required notices.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Governing law. This guarantee is governed by California law. Dispute resolution, including arbitration terms, is governed by our Terms of Service.
Relationship to other warranties
Glory Worn offers a separate 2-Year Limited Product Warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship on the rest of your product — kept visibly distinct from this magnet guarantee. That product warranty excludes normal wear, cosmetic changes, and abuse, and runs for two years. These are two different promises with two different scopes. Magnetic for Life covers only the magnetic hold delivered by the Buckle Base, for the life of the product. The 2-Year Limited Product Warranty covers the rest of the product, for two years. The magnet guarantee does not extend or enlarge the product warranty, and the product warranty does not imply lifetime coverage of anything.
Implied-warranty duration. Any limitation on the duration of implied warranties is governed by California law and is stated on the 2-Year Limited Product Warranty page — where the express product warranty (and therefore any implied-warranty-duration limit) lives. No implied-warranty-duration limitation attaches to this magnet guarantee, whose own term is the life of the product.
